The fact that Airtable makes it possible to build suitable front ends for an Airtable database is nothing new. They released the Airtable interfaces back in 2021. This made it possible to build entire web apps in Airtable for the first time using a drag-and-drop editor.
But after the launch of Airtable AI in March, the next AI feature from Airtable is now coming: the Airtable Cobuilder.
Similar to Softr, Glide or Bubble, you can now also create an app with Airtable via a prompt window. Simply specify what you want your app to be about, which industry and target group you want to address, and Airtable's AI will generate an initial version of your app in a matter of seconds.
The trick: the AI not only analyzes your input, but also your user profile and your company to create a tailor-made app. So instead of just entering "I want a content calendar", you could write "I am Head of Marketing at VisualMakers and need a content calendar for B2B marketing on LinkedIn".
The result: an app that not only contains the basic functions of a content calendar, but also integrates relevant data and information from the B2B marketing world of LinkedIn. 🤯
Once the app has been created, you can customize it as you wish:
Airtable Cobuilder has a decisive advantage over other no-code builders: the AI not only builds a front end, but also the associated database structure, dummy data and the relationships between the individual tables. An enormous time saving!
Sounds perfect? Almost!
Of course, the Airtable Cobuilder does not only have advantages:
The Airtable Cobuilder is a game changer in the no-code sector! It has never been easier to create functioning and visually appealing web apps in the shortest possible time. Especially for internal apps, this new feature is an ingenious opportunity for more speed in the company.
Softr, the popular Airtable Front-End Builder, is not standing still either and has introduced two exciting new integrations:
